Important Information for CyberCash Customers
Road Runner no longer sells the CyberCash e-commerce service.
Existing CyberCash customers will be transitioned automatically to VeriSign's PayFlow payment gateway services. When the transition is completed, those customers can access their account(s) through the PayFlow Manager login page at https://manager.verisign.com/. To login, customers will need to enter their Partner ID, login ID, and password.
Note that any orders authorized -- but not captured -- using the CyberCash E-Commerce Services Manager prior to the transition must be settled manually using the VeriSign Payflow Manager. Orders processed through CyberCash prior to the transition to PayFlow Manager can still be administered through the currently available CyberCash functionality.
Customers who have been transitioned to VeriSign's PayFlow Manager may want to consult the "VeriSign Manager - Quick Start Guide for CyberCash Merchants." That document can be viewed with Adobe® Acrobat Reader version 4.0 or later, available for free from Adobe, Inc.

Transaction Logging and Reporting
To support balancing, reporting and other back-office functions, the CashRegister software automatically logs every transaction in a powerful database. All critical payment information remains in encrypted form. An easy to use, web based reporting feature provides password protected visibility into this transaction level information. To zero in on a problem a merchant can:
- Select all or single card types (MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover)

The CyberCash Setup Process
CyberCash functionality is not currently available for our NT hosting customers. Only our UNIX Plan 2 and higher and E-commerce plan customers can install CyberCash.

Step One
Financial Institutions
This step is performed by you or the webmaster of your domain. Notify your bank that you are interested in accepting credit cards using CyberCash. If your bank does not set up merchant credit card accounts for CyberCash, you can e-mail CyberCash: bank@cybercash.com to request CyberCash to speak with your bank on your behalf. Step Two
CyberCash 3.2 Setup Process
To activate your CyberCash 3.2 account, you will need to complete the registration form that is required by CyberCash. Please complete this form at the following URL:

- best suited for use by a store front that is offering non-tangible items, for example on-line information or on-line access.
AuthOnly
- will check the credit card for authorization during the ordering process
- will not automatically process the transfer of funds from the credit card holder at the time of transaction
- the orders are batched for manual processing. All batched orders that are not manually processed within 24 hours will become void
- best suited for use by a store front that is offering tangible items that must be delivered. This eliminates the need to void transactions when items are out of stock.
