SUB ACCOUNT USER FUNCTION

 

You can reset your current sub account user password in the Account Management section of the Dial Access website.

 

Resetting Your Sub Account User Password


To reset your sub account user password:

 

  1. Go to http://dialaccess.twcbc.com.
  2. Click the CHANGE PASSWORD link at the top of the page.
  3. Enter your User ID (user@domain.com) in the User ID field.
  4. Enter your current password in the Enter your Current Password: field. Note: If you do not know your current password, see your Account Administrator. If your Account Administrator is not available, you may contact us to reset your password. For security purposes, you must supply your Time Warner Cable account number.
  5. Enter a new password in the Choose a New Password: and Confirm your New Password: fields.
  6. Click the Change Password button. You will receive an e-mail notification once the password has been changed.

ACCOUNT ADMINISTRATOR FUNCTIONS

 

Account Administrators can add and delete sub account users, enable and disable sub account users, and reset passwords for sub account users in the Account Management section of the Dial Access website.

Resetting the Master Account (Account Administrator) Password

 

If you need to have the Master Account (Account Administrator) password reset, you (the Account Administrator) should contact us. Note: You will need to supply the customer account number for forgotten usernames or passwords. You will receive an e-mail notification once the password has been changed.

 

Logging Into Account Management

 

To login to Account Management:

 

  1. Go to http://dialaccess.twcbc.com/primary/Login.
  2. When the Dial Access Account Management Login screen displays, enter your e-mail address in the Email Address: field.
  3. Enter your password in the Password: field.
  4. Click the Log - In button. The Account Management tool will display.
     

Managing User Accounts

The Account Administrator can set up new and manage existing sub accounts in the Account Management section.

 

 

Adding Sub Account Users

 

To add sub account users:

 

  1. Click the ADD USERS link.
  2. Enter the User IDs (i.e. just the username) in the User ID: (one per line) field. Only enter one User ID per line.
  3. Enter a common password for all of the User IDs in the Password: field. Note: After the sub account is activated, a sub account user may reset their password from the Dial Access home page or you (the Account Administrator) may reset the password by clicking the Manage Users link.
  4. Click the Submit button to activate the sub accounts. Note: A tally of the Current Number of Enables Users and Max Number of Users Allowed is located below the Add Users heading on the screen. A confirmation message will display and an e-mail notification will be sent to every sub account user that was created.

    Note: Any number of additional sub account users may be added to an account even if the number exceeds the number provisioned. This may be useful if your company hires temporary workers or needs additional accounts for special circumstances. In order to exceed the number of accounts provisioned, some active accounts will need to be disabled. For each active account that is disabled, an additional account can be added. The login will time out after 30 minutes of inactivity and a warning message will be displayed.

 

 

Searching Sub Account Users

 

To search for sub account users:

 

  1. Click the MANAGE USERS link.
  2. Either enter the User ID in the User ID: field, the partial User ID in the All User ID's Beginning With: field, or click to check the checkbox next to the List All Registered Users: option.
  3. Click the Search button.
     

Deleting Sub Account Users

 

To delete sub account users:

 

  1. Click to check the checkbox to the left of that User ID.
  2. Click the Delete Selected Accounts! button.
  3. When the warning message displays asking if you're sure you want to delete the selected user accounts, click the OK button.

Enabling and Disabling Sub Account Users

 

To enable or disable a sub account user:

 

  1. Click the blue username link.
  2. Select either enabled or disabled from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click the Submit button.

Resetting Passwords for Sub Account Users

 

To reset a password for a sub account user:

 

  1. Click the blue username link.
  2. Delete the old password and enter the new password in the Password: field.
  3. Click the Submit button.

Note: Sub Account users can also reset their own password by going to http://dialaccess.twcbc.com and clicking the CHANGE PASSWORD link at the top of the page.
